George Fleming Wesson, 57, of Ashland City, TN passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dover Wesson, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Meiggs Wesson Worley of Lake Gaston; his wife, Lynn Tomlinson of the home; his daughter, Jena McElhose of Houston, TX; his brother, Bill Wesson and his wife, Evelyn, of Lake Gaston; his stepsister, Susan Hopping and her husband, Allen, of Wisconsin; his special godchildren; a host of special nieces and nephews; special great nieces and nephews, special aunt, Ruth Crain; his loving grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Samantha Smith, Lynnsey Smith, Ashley Smith and Joe Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, at Lake Gaston Baptist Church in Littleton with Rev. David Kizziah and Rev. Todd Stout officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
